Another Valentine’s Day. My husband and I just celebrated our 18th Valentines together. I am fortunate to have a faithful man. For eighteen Valentines he has given cards, candy, flowers, and other gifts. He has never forgotten. Albeit, he is not a perfect man, no one is, but he has been a faithful husband, and that has been a true source of happiness in my life.
But I realize everyone is not as fortunate as I am. Some are, some are not. For many, relationships have been characterized by eventual disappointment, and Valentines day is usually sad.
I wish everyone could realize just how much they are loved. Regardless of your religion, it is a fact that God loves you. That’s right, you are loved. Many don’t know this. God loved every person in existence, every person ever created. Whether or not you are loved by others, allow the love that
God has for you to sink into your heart, into your being, into your spirit-man. Allow the acceptance and the assurance of love fill you with peace. Meditate on this love, which is perfect, to fill you with an inexplicable joy. This would make this Valentine’s day the best one ever.
So Happy Valentines day. Believe, Celebrate! You are loved!
Scripture for Meditation:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, so that whosoever believes on him would not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
