Insightful! God is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance. Man will be judged according to what he/she understands. As Moses speaks to the children of Israel and begins to recount to them what has happened among them and to them for the past 40 years in the desert, he gives us an important clue to understanding the doctrine of accountability. He mentions the children, of whom he says ‘have no knowledge of good and evil.’ Isaiah also mentions something like this in Isaiah 7:
